Responsible Gambling
We are committed to safer gambling. Set limits, take breaks, ask for help.
Our commitment
Casinox exists to deliver gambling as entertainment. We accept that gambling is a paid form of entertainment with an inherent statistical edge in favour of the house and we accept that, for a small but real fraction of players, gambling can stop being entertainment and start being a problem. We have built our product around the assumption that a player will be a customer for many years and that their long-term well-being is in our long-term commercial interest. We will not chase short-term revenue by exploiting players who are losing control.
This Responsible Gambling Policy describes the values, the limits, the tools and the support pathways that translate that commitment into operational practice.
Our responsible-gambling programme is overseen by a dedicated Player Protection Officer who reports directly to the board, is independent of marketing and revenue functions, has the authority to suspend any account that exhibits warning signs, and has the budget to fund the in-product safety tools described below. The Player Protection Officer publishes an annual transparency report (number of self-exclusions, deposit-limit usage, average session length, support-tool engagement) on /legal/responsible-gambling/transparency.
Warning signs
Gambling stops being entertainment and starts becoming a problem when one or more of the following warning signs appears. These are statements from real treatment literature, not marketing copy.
- You spend more time and more money on gambling than you originally planned. You set a limit and you bust through it.
- You chase losses — you keep playing to try to win back what you have already lost, instead of accepting the loss as the price of entertainment.
- You hide gambling from your family, partner, friends or coworkers. You lie about how much you have deposited, how often you play, or how much you have won or lost.
- You borrow money to gamble — from family, from credit cards, from payday lenders, from acquaintances, or from your own savings, mortgage or investment accounts.
- You feel guilt, anxiety, depression, irritability, sleep disruption, appetite changes or anger when you are gambling, when you have just stopped, or when you are unable to gamble. You think about gambling when you should be at work, in class or with people you love.
Player protection tools
Every Casinox account has access to the following safety tools, free of charge, available at any time without questions asked. None of them can be turned off by support — they are entirely in your hands. To find them, go to Profile → Responsible Gambling.
Deposit limits
Cap how much you can deposit per day, per week or per month, in any currency. Once a limit is hit, further deposits are blocked until the period resets. Decreases take effect immediately; increases require a 24-hour cool-off and a confirmation step.
Loss limits
Cap how much you can lose net per day, per week or per month. Once the loss limit is hit, all wagers are blocked until the period resets. Loss limits are evaluated in USD at the moment of the bet using the same rates we use for displaying balances.
Session limits
Cap the maximum length of a single session. After the limit is reached you are automatically logged out and cannot log in again for the cooling-off period you chose.
Self-exclusion
Block yourself from gambling for 24 hours, 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, 5 years or for life. Cannot be reversed during the exclusion period — not even on written request, not even on court order.
Reality checks
Pop-ups that interrupt your session every 15, 30 or 60 minutes to remind you how long you have played, how much you have wagered and how much you have lost since you logged in.
Cooling-off
A quick break of 24 hours to 6 weeks. Lighter than self-exclusion; auto-reactivation at the end.
Protection of minors
It is illegal in every jurisdiction in which we are licensed to allow anyone under the age of eighteen (18) to gamble. We do not market to minors, we do not appear on websites that target minors, we do not sponsor sports teams whose primary audience is minors, and we proactively block any account that we have reason to believe is operated by a minor. Where a minor is detected, every wager is voided, every deposit is returned to the original payment source net of network fees, every prize is forfeited, and the account is permanently closed.
If you are a parent, guardian or schoolteacher concerned that a minor may be accessing Casinox, contact [email protected]. We respond to safeguarding reports within four (4) hours, 24/7. We recommend household-level controls such as Net Nanny (https://www.netnanny.com/), Qustodio (https://www.qustodio.com/), and the OS-level parental controls in Windows, macOS, iOS and Android.

Common myths
The myth: "After many losses, a big win is due." The reality: every spin, every bet, every roll is statistically independent of every previous one. The dice have no memory. A long losing streak does not move the odds of the next bet by a single basis point.
The myth: "I can win it back if I just bet bigger." The reality: the size of your stake does not change the house edge. Bigger stakes simply mean a bigger expected loss. A 1% edge against you on a 100 USD bet is, on average, a 1 USD loss; on a 10,000 USD bet, it is a 100 USD expected loss. There is no martingale strategy that beats a casino with a positive edge over enough rounds.
The myth: "I'm good at this game; my skill gives me an edge." The reality: outside of poker against other humans, and outside of sports betting where you possess real, exclusive information, casino games are designed to retain the house edge against any strategy. "Hot streaks" and "cold streaks" are statistical noise, not skill.
